Pre-launch

The contracts are written and tested but not yet deployed or audited, so no case can be staked and every pool reads as empty. Nothing here is broken.

Safety

What this is, and what it is not.

preCrime is a game about publicly observable events. Read plainly, it is easy to use responsibly; read as an accusation engine, it is not what anyone here is building.

preCrime does not determine wrongdoing

A GUILTY verdict means one thing: a precisely defined, publicly observable event happened before a deadline. It is not a finding of fraud, misconduct, manipulation or illegality, and it is not evidence of any of those things.

Moving tokens to an exchange is not wrongdoing. Selling what you hold is not wrongdoing. Removing your own liquidity is not wrongdoing. The product names these events because they are measurable, not because they are suspect.

Cases target addresses, not people

A case can only name a public address, contract or pool. It cannot name a person, and the product will not host a case that identifies one, speculates about who controls an address, or attaches a real-world identity to on-chain activity.

If you believe a case does any of that, report it. That is a removal reason, not a matter of taste.

Reporting a case

Every dossier carries a report control. Use it for a case that:

  • Identifies a person, or speculates about who controls an address.
  • Asserts wrongdoing rather than describing an observable event.
  • Cannot be resolved as written, or is deliberately ambiguous.
  • Duplicates an existing case to split its pool.
  • Cites fabricated evidence or a source that does not say what it claims.

A report is reviewed by a person. If a case is removed, participants are refunded — a removal is never a way for anyone to take a pool.

Creators can appeal a removal or a slashed bond. The appeal and its outcome are recorded in the case history, which is append-only.

Protecting yourself

preCrime will never ask for your private key or seed phrase. Nobody legitimate ever will. Anyone who does is stealing from you.

  • preCrime never holds your funds. Every stake, claim and refund is a transaction you sign from your own wallet to a contract you can read.
  • Signing in costs no gas and authorises no transaction. If a signature request asks for anything else, reject it.
  • Check the domain before signing. The sign-in message names the site requesting it, and a signature collected elsewhere is rejected here.
  • The bot will never DM you first asking for anything. Treat an unsolicited message claiming to be preCrime as a scam.

Money at risk

Staking on a case can lose the whole stake. Payout is parimutuel, so being on the winning side does not guarantee getting back more than you put in: if your side held nearly the entire pool, the fee alone can leave you with less. The stake screen shows the implied payout before you sign.

preCrime is not investment advice and nothing on it is a recommendation. Public-record case types in particular are informational, never a suggestion to buy or sell anything.

Stock Tokens

Some case types measure tokenized instruments. preCrime reads public on-chain data about them and nothing more: it does not offer, sell, route, execute or custody any such instrument, and it takes no view on any underlying company.

Availability of those instruments is restricted by jurisdiction and is a matter between their issuer and their holder. preCrime will not help anyone work around such a restriction.
